Wayne Burke
Wayne Burke wants to improve everything for everyone, and sees open source governance models, software, and standards as foundational elements for achieving this idealistic vision. He brings a wide diversity of experiences and perspectives to his work, most recently as the Deputy Chief Technology and Innovation Officer for NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and previously as the founder of the non-profit Open Forum Foundation, working with Congress, US federal agencies, and the governments of other countries to improve citizen engagement. Today, you can find him working from home in Ann Arbor, MI, spending time with his brilliant wife and two remarkable children, or practicing at a local roller rink with the hopes of winning another Gold Medal at this year's Artistic Roller Skating National Championships.
