Chief Scientist Scott Shenker Wins UC Berkeley Undergraduate Teaching Award

Professor Scott Shenker, ICSI's chief scientist and the director of research initiatives, has won the 2013-2014 Jim and Donna Gray Faculty Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching from UC Berkeley's Computer Science Division. The award is given annually to faculty who demonstrate excellence in undergraduate teaching. In the past ten years, five members, alumni, or affiliates of ICSI have won the award, including former architecture research director Krste Asanović in 2009-2010 and networking and security research director Vern Paxson in 2010-2011.
